Today’s picture is of our loopy Munsterlander Alfie, who quietly tolerated being dressed up as an Arab. He is a fruit loop but we love him

August 12th – Dinner
After a hot game of golf, I returned home to an amazing moussaka washed down with some mead, thanks to our house guests, Estella and Andy. There’s even a little left for tomorrow…. Bagsey is in for the leftovers …. Nom nom
August 10th – When you have a Large Munsterlander….
A bit of a weird photo today, featuring a very chewed Croc, belonging to my wife. It quite often finds itself on the back of the sofa, thanks to Alfie, who seems to have adopted it as his favourite toy…… It is a common occurrence to find just one shoe (usually when you’re in aContinue reading “August 10th – When you have a Large Munsterlander….”
August 3rd – Sundowner
Another lovely sunset this evening, watched with nice G&T. We are so lucky have a rural outlook towards the west at the rear of our house.
August 9th – Workshop…
Just a few minor finishing touches required to my lock-down project, but the move from the old to the new workshop has commenced. This will enable us to clear out the cabin and renovate it into a garden bar / summerhouse. It has been hard work, but good fun. If a carpenter saw it, heContinue reading “August 9th – Workshop…”

Today’s picture is of a sunflower in the garden that we didn’t intend. This imposter appeared under a tree where we hang a bird 🐦 feeder. I wonder what else will appear?

July 29th – This way Dad!
This time last year we came home with this nutter. We have owned many different breeds over the years, including a number of spaniels (renowned for their mad characteristics), but Alfie (a Large Munsterlander) is in a different league. It is difficult to summarise in words, but i’ll give it a go ….. Gentle giant;Continue reading “July 29th – This way Dad!”
August 5th – Horses
Today’s picture is of a couple of horses residing at HillHouse Farm, an equestrian centre situated close to our village. It is lovely to see the stunning horses, which often results in a ‘neigh’ greeting as we walk past on a bray day, although it has been a lot quieter since the Corona Virus outbreak.
August 1st – Data
A bit of a different picture today, as it is from my phone after a spin session. I have really missed the ‘adrenaline buzz’ after a good spin session, and thankful that we can get back in a safe manner, with lots of bike wipe downs and more space between bikes as they have beenContinue reading “August 1st – Data”
