July 15th – Workshop progress

Today’s picture is of the new workshop under construction. Half of the roof is on, but I need to wait for some poly carbonate sheets for the other side.

As I was building it, I couldn’t help thinking about all of the poor souls that don’t have one of the basic needs for any creature – Shelter.

It’s so easy to take our lives for granted, and always want a little more, a little better, but by looking around at others less fortunate helps keeps us grounded.

I was impressed with the initiative during the covid-19 crisis by getting the homeless off the street by using spare capacity in hotels. Let’s hope it has given the people some time to get their lives back on track.
